EDIT: I’m specifically talking about the right being suss about videos of parents laughing with police. They were used to start the rumors the parents were crisis actors and not grieving “correctly”. Same thing. You can’t police grief.
The Sandy Hook parents were private individuals who had no desire to be public, and who were then relentlessly attacked by the right with bald-faced, abhorrent lies about their children.
Erika Kirk stepped into the spotlight the moment Charlie Kirk died and started giving speeches and hosting events and fundraisers. And while the left thinks it’s really weird how she seems really unperturbed and happy throughout all of this, the Sandy Hook-style attacks are again coming from the right in the form of fucking Candace Owens.
