This isn’t news. This is just how things work. A city with a million people and 1% homeless has a larger homeless population than a city with 200k people and 2% homelessness.

If you are still shocked by population growth, you need to leave.
Growing cities have growing populations. This isn’t news. This is just how things work.
A city with a million people and 1% homeless has a larger homeless population than a city with 200k people and 2% homelessness.
I think the doubling within two years is the main point that should come across.
Unless the city also doubled in population, the percentage of homeless people have increased.
it’s a trend across Canada.
