Yup, it’s still good, most of the OG staff (both voice and writing) is back except of course for the dead people. The changed voices are Dale, Ted Wassonassong, Kahn, and we’ll see about John Redcorn (passed after next season was already recorded, iirc, so season 16 is the first since his death…I think). The animation is more modern because the old techniques are now long dead. They did not address Luanne and Lucky, but I hope they will in S15. And they have already been renewed for S16 and S17, S15 is already in the can awaiting release this year. 15ish years (in the show) have passed since S13 ended.
It’s worth noting that the actor for John Redcorn didn’t just pass, he was murdered in a hate crime by a white supremacist and then the Texas cops buried the case.
Sigfredo Ceja Alvarez, the man who shot him, had his pre-trial last month and has a new court date (which I just tried to find but couldn’t yet) is set for the future, so the case is going forward.
Well “hate crimes” in texas isn’t a separate charge, it’d be tacked on if the prosecution feels they can prove it, but he’s charged with 1st degree murder.
Wait there’s new King of the Hill?

I recommend it.

Thanks seemingly to the guys celebrity status. Otherwise it would have likely stayed buried.
For manslaughter or hate crimes?

Wait are you saying they actually aged the characters 15 years? So Bobby is grown up?
Yeah, he is head chef at a restaraunt in (iirc) Dallas.
Wow that’s nuts. I might have to check that out.
It’s actually good. Do it.
Here’s the trailer!
