I’ve been using Garuda for dual boot for a while on my desktop. Finally got the single program I actually needed windows for working well enough to actually use, so last week I nuked my laptop win11 install and got Garuda up.
Never been happier with it

Mint is a great general entry point to Linux.
I’d say Pop!OS or Garuda Gaming edition for traditional style, and Bazzite for “Atomic”(harder to accidentally Bork), are better ootb(out of the box) gaming distros. I.e. less downloading and tweaking to get games running, more things installed from first boot.

Just strap a rickshaw to 2 electric bikes taped together…job done! 👍
