    Sounds like you’re unfamiliar with Japanese games. It’s not typical for them to have full voice acting.

    Calling anything from The Legend of Zelda a cheap asset flip is quite something, though.

      I mean are they not using essentially the same assets since ever? Every game they put out just feels like regurgitated IP to maximise profits at this point.

      Edit: and ref the voice acting, that’s fine if they want to go that route, I realize a lot of people like it. But if they don’t need entire departments other studios have then they shouldn’t be charging so much for the game was my point.

        … No? Most Legend of Zelda games use the same style maybe twice or thrice… if that. New style means new assets, new models and textures. So they’re not simply reusing assets.

        And I strongly disagree. For a game to be priced lower it needs to actually have less value. Not simply be absent of something you’re used to in Western games.
