Wait, osu has the 4th largest sports stadium in the world‽ Fucking hell, stuff like that is why I avoided the university district like the plague.

And yeah, I can confirm you couldn’t spend much time in cbus without learning that Wexner is a pedo.

Which one Oregon state university? Oklahoma state university? Or Ohio state university?

Alternatively, which Ohio state university? Akron state? Cincinnati state? Cleveland state? Youngstown state? Wright state?

Yeah, I just checked, and it’s still the 5th largest stadium. In the Americas, it’s only surpassed by Michigan’s and Penn State’s stadiums. I knew about the exercise field in North Korea, but it looks like a cricket stadium in India recently took the #1 spot in the world.

Of course it’s those three states lol. But also what the fuck‽ I would’ve assumed it would be like one of Texas’s pro stadiums or an Olympic stadium. Three of the five biggest stadiums in the world being Midwestern college football annoys the hell out of me, and not just because I care about academics, oppose cte, and grew increasingly frustrated that Ohio was happy to do shit like that or buy Cincinnati a new stadium but a light rail was a nonstarter.

I think it helps when there’s only one main big school in a state. Texas has a lot of schools, so the interest gets spread around. In Ohio, they may as well give out OSU bumper stickers when you register your car, they’re that prevalent.
