Well, like a video game, time to arm up and train for potential random encounters. I’d like to the see the people start winning some of these encounters. These cowards will draw back as soon as they get bit.
I play like Morrowind. I stay in safe areas and do low level small quests. I stick up and prepare before a journey. I try to join small factions for both missions and protections.
A gunfight would quickly end with me dead, and there would be no way of changing the story. If I was armed, it would be easy to tell all kinds of stories about what happens. I know cops lie.
I have zero interest in violence. Being a queer kid in Oklahoma has already resulted in experiencing physical violence at multiple points in my life. I have spent more time learning to make a punch hurt less than I have learning to throw them. Any point where retaliation has been attempted makes the punches harder, and garners me more other consequences. It’s easier to show people your gashes if they cannot reveal a bruise.
