U.S. President Donald Trump’s ambassador to Canada is warning of consequences to the continental defence pact if Canada does not move forward with the purchase of 88 F-35 fighter jets.

“NORAD would have to be altered,” U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra told CBC News in an exclusive interview at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.

He says the United States would likely need to purchase more of the advanced fighter aircraft for its own air force, and would fly them more often into Canadian airspace to address threats approaching the U.S.

“If Canada is no longer going to provide that [capability], then we have to fill those gaps,” said Hoekstra.

Someone should have told the Orange Menace that NORAD would change if one of the two members of the alliance started acting like the enemy of the other.

American diplomacy is like being welcomed into a room to negotiate. You are greeted with a smile, seated in an opulent office in a comfortable chair and offered coffee. Your gracious host asks if you would like cream or sugar and carefully places it in a fine bone china cup and saucer.

Then your host stirs your coffee with his dick as two large men appear out of nowhere and hold you down into the chair and eye fuck you while they make you drink it.

    Extorting motherfucker.

We are not saying we’re buying nothing, we would be buying a trusted partners aircraft, and not planes from an imperialist fascist oligarchy.

    Actually that’s not even true.

WE WOULD BE BUILDING OUR OWN FUCKING AIRCRAFT

If Canada is an equal member partner in NORAD then shouldnt Canadian defence companies have the same bidding rights on US defence projects as US companies?

Y’know as apposed to all of those defence comapnies moving south so they can bid?

Unfortunately this marraige is full of hippcrasy and double standards…

We very badly need air defences. We don’t have so much as a shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missile, let alone anything long-ranged.

Honestly, I’m increasingly looking forward to the moment when Trump finally fucks off, if for no other reason than I no longer have to hear the shit that comes out of Hoekstra’s mouth. He has the verbal equivalent to the world’s most punchable face.
