    Sometimes yes, sometimes no, it depends on the size of the trashcan.

    Is 5c per bag really going to break the bank? You can still buy them, but it de-incentivizes all those other people who were littering them.

      it’s the principle of the matter, I used to get it for free and get an important use out of it. (side note : yes, important. If you don’t think refuse storage and disposal is important, look into garbage men strikes and how much it impacts sanitation in the region where it takes place)

      but it de-incentivizes all those other people who were littering them.

      Fucking tragedy of the commons strikes again, fuck regular people, this is why I’m a misanthrope, etc etc

        I’m sorry it feels bad to have to pay for them now, but I truly think this is better for society.
