It is just for news and no ads, I started paying for it in January when I cancelled all my other streaming services even though my pihole blocks the ads.
As it should. It shouldn’t need to run at a profit and that’s the only thing you’d want these numbers for.
Every time there is no transparency, huge amounts of money are changing hands behind the scenes. This is like me owning a business but my second-in-command refuses to tell me how many employees we have. It makes no sense. Canada, even with it’s free healthcare, is not too much different from other capitalists I guess. I’m a subscriber on GEM (the free version).
