In an interview with Forbes Ukraine, GSC Game World's owner, a Ukrainian entrepreneur, has admitted that STALKER 2 is already profitable.

I can totally understand being burned on Cyberpunk, but you should know that, since 2.0, it’s basically a completely new game mechanically. I’m pretty sure they overhauled the skill trees, and they added a police system.
