Their cost competitiveness reflects not only technological efficiency, but also extensive state support, preferential financing, controlled energy prices, and regulatory frameworks that do not fully internalize environmental and labour costs.
Ah yes, the gas automobile, famously not ever receiving billions in government subsidies. Same for the gas industry, never a preferential treatment in sight. Never a litre consumed without a thought for the environment and labour costs! This is very unfair!

Russia was aligned with the old regime fighting ISIS and various Islamists offshoots. Russia isn’t aligned with the current regime that was founded by people who lead ISIS at one point and other offshoots. The US is now aligned with these people, which isn’t a that surprising considering they’ve always been fighting both sides.
