Yup. It’s easy to setup the tuner in JF. We use Plex and Jellyfin frontends without issue.

I can second this. Been running Ersatz for about 6 months now after getting endless frustration with Disque. Currently have 7 channels configured, upwards of 2 to 3 active at any given point.
One of the things that seems to help with not dropping streams as much is configuring it to treat your media shares as local to ersatz. I had tried mirroring my Disque setup with Plex managing the libraries via Plex Playlists and it was sloppy and dropped a lot between episodes/media.
Anyways, +1 for Ersatz.
Sounds like a cultural expectation of accountability to me. Living in a country that is the complete opposite, I can respect having a national sense of everyone should be doing the right thing and if you’re suspected of not doing so, you need to have the character to prove it thoroughly.
Would you mind DM’ing me that link when you have some time?
Unfortunately my external users don’t have access to my jellyfin instance. Which is unfortunate because I enjoy it way more for Ersatz channels than I do Plex
Thank you for the suggestion! I could try and see if my user pool would give that a shot but, I have some pretty tech illiterate people using my services.
My partner has embraced overseer though so it’s been a win in the acceptance stack in that regard. . since they don’t use Discord
This looks great. Thanks for the link!
I like to think of it as the boomers have reverse mortgaged the country.
The amount of corporate environments running old builds, 3+ patches behind or pro/home versions would shock anybody with an inkling of security awareness.
If you’re going to run Windows as a business and especially if you’re going to rely on Defender, you gotta be on top of shit. Most are woefully far outside of that
They’re not withholding, this is a normal lifecycle for their OS’es (technically this one is already an extended deadline due to covid). The fact that Win10 had a 10 year life is the first time they have done so (LTS builds not withstanding). The amount of vulnerabilities and patching necessary to keep that husk going isn’t worth the squeeze to them.
Even Linux builds are lucky to reach 10 years of support on a given kernel.
The OS being unsupported is a terrible idea. Especially is you’re relying on Defender for EDR… either switch OS’es or upgrade. There is no sense in running vulnerable devices. You’re only creating more attack surfaces. I sympathize with the user that can’t afford an upgrade, but they gotta aware and accountable of the consequence. Arch, btw
Gross. I feel like they only add the content bloat as a justification for the world size. I really enjoyed Origins but fell off the latter 2 before getting halfway.
Intel U7 and 11 Home?!
Hell yeah, I’ve never been more disinterested in what will surely be a trash experience!
While I love the sentiment, it might be a matter of both unfortunately. But, we have NCSoft at the helm instead of TenCent.
Its the one origin enabled game I have on steam that does it. For some reason their cloud sync over rides Steam and it doesn’t appear to stay open long enough to upload after a session consistently.
Heads up to anyone looking to play on Deck and other systems concurrently, cross save will get fucky. I lost 20+ hours of play time thanks too this on ME1 and about the same when I came back a year later to play through ME2 assuming they would have smoothed it out.
Sigh, have a nice day.
I haven’t driven the id.4, but our car has a visual indicator that shows the percentage of regenerative braking efficiency achieved when you at coming to a stop. Hitting 100% is significantly easier in my experience with my test sample of 1 vehicle using the single pedal option, like everything though, I’m sure it’s not the same across the board.
The guides are pretty solid. The one that sometimes holds people up is ensuring you have a post-roll playout for the channel. I forgot that when going making new channels after a few months of initial config and it caused issues with channels rendering properly downstream.
