Fine… that version, not 24H2

From my reading all ways to move the task bar have been removed.

Honestly that could be an interesting reboot.

I made the switch recently for probably the strangest reason.

I’ve been running win 11 for over a year using a shell tool that allowed me to move my task bar to the top of the screen and some other win 10 functionality.

However win 11 removed the ability to move the task bar and my shell program lost most of its functionality. After that I was done.

I’ve Linux off and on since 2002ish so it’s not scary to me and I’m pretty happy with Arch and KDE right now. Still the occasional crash that appears to happen sometimes when watching YouTube.

I remember watching the director commentary on the first movie and they made a joke about the 88 mph thing because the car could barely do it. If I recall the later car in the films was a Volvo underneath.

It’s a fair question. The whole 88 mph thing from back to the future was a joke because no one thought a delorian could go that fast.

It brings up a valid point. Assembly line manufacturing will soon require massive automation lines to remain profitable, and without massive government assistance in not just money, but education and training, these kinds of automation factories will likely never be fully realized here.

This is what large scale pollination companies do. They haul in tons of hives around various crops and let them do their thing for a while and then pack up and move to the next one. Basically these bees are like sailors going port to port, spreading all of their goodness around.

Gross. Many of the technical articles on wiki are labors of love by talented people who do a great job breaking down complex concepts into fairly understandable terms.

Pretty much the only reason why humans have had a population explosion over the last 120~ years is because of technology and oil. Prior to the industrial revolution the human population grew very slowly and would suffer significant declines from time to time. Greed is pretty much what got us here today.
