I would so love to have my phone and laptop run the same operating system. Would simplify so many things.

With Google attempting to further lockdown Android, the time is ripe for Linux Mobile. Projects like this can help make it a viable alternative.

I’ve not tried to make such a table myself in Libreoffice, but when I open one that someone at work made with excel, everything works as expected.

There are alternatives for everything, and most of them are better that the windows-only options. Gimp, for example, is far superior to Photoshop.

That said, some folks do have to use the crappy MS software for work. There’s nothing to be done but to pity them.

What are you trying to accomplish here?
