I never used misskey and it’s forks. How are their discover feeds and UI/UX?

Discover feed in Mastodon sucks a lot for me, the number of posts there are very limited and not tailed to my preferences. On one hand, that makes it less addicting than twitter which is good for me, on the other hand, it doesn’t make me use it much which is also good for me but bad for them ig.

Why don’t people want to use mastodon?

Because it doesn’t have a proper discover feed.

i am using a public instance right now, might host one in the future. its just been two days since i started using it and i am still trying to get accustomed to it.

have you tried searchpage or searxng? i think they use google (while searxng also use other search engines) beyond the scenes.

Yeah, can make some products better but most of the products these days that use AI, it doesn’t actually need them. It’s annoying to use products that actively shovel AI when it doesn’t even need it.

so you mean we can configure searxng to work like fediverse lens? if yes, how to?
