Gimp is great for regular photo editing but when it comes to digital painting or drawing it lacks alot of the features needed. Krita isn’t as good, I’d argue, at photo editing as gimp is however so both have their place

On a differet note Ironworks also from Nova Scotia makes some great tasting rum. Smooth, sweet, and a bit thicker like it should be. Might sound a bit dumb but their maple rum is absolutely beautiful too. Not at all a gimmick like I first thought. For context I drink both neat

Hamachi is easier to get others to use I’ve found. When we just want to game getting somebody to install a different application can cause frustration, anger, and a quoting mentality. Some people are just stuck in their ways.

Doesn’t matter how easy it’s to do, how you’ll guide them through each step, some people are just stuck in their ways and many people are atleast familiar with hamachi

Nova Scotia has some nice mountain ranges within driving distamce to areas with good internet. Particularly in cape Breton, though they are more right wing than the rest of ns.

A while back, somewhere around Linux 5.17, some Intel chips in laptops caused the Linux kernal to rapidly set backlight brightness to 100% then zero. This flashing would likely cause it to break. That’s the last one I remember only a year or so ago.

This only effected arch an it’s varients to my knowledge though, as they were the first to recieve the update, and it was fixed very quickly. To my knowledge nobodies systems were broken from this.

Normally I’d say fuck Nintendo but palworld obviously stole the designs and artistic direction for many of their characters.

Most of the pals I saw at first were modified versions of an already existant pokemon with little to seperate it from fan art of that pokemon. This is particularly agregoous as they clashed against the rest of this games aesthetic. Nothing that was original fit with the design of the pokemon rip offs.

Many other games have a pokemon esque aesthetic without direct copying. It looking similar is not my issue. My issue is that while playing I could easily name most pals to a pokemon. Seriously, look up comparisons. It’s blatant.

They’ve moved away from thisbrecently but fuck man if it ain’t obvious. If they did the same to some small project I’d assume people would be much more up in arms, rightfully so.

Still though, I won’t cry if Nintendo loses. I hope they pay an insane amount in lawyers fees either way and never see a dime out of the case
