  • I disagree. There are tools that admins who want an echo chamber can leverage to help them create one, sure. But that’s true for any social media.

    It’s not as if the Lemmy software has any lack of echo chambers hosted on it.

    And there are also tools that help prevent an echo chamber from forming, if the admins want to avoid it (for example, tracking the accounts that downvote the most comments, disabling karma gain from circlejerk communities).
