This is a seriously stupid issue.
Why can’t we deal with this like twitters name change where everyone basically ignores it and just keeps calling it the same name as before?

Here in St Louis they just shoot each other for fun
St. Louis officer gets 7 years for killing female colleague while playing Russian roulette
Agreed. Such a fun game, animation is great and humor is cute and quirky.
I went to the March for Science and was glad I did. It was cold and rainy but everyone was having a good time. Got to hear some great speakers and geek out with other scientists. It was really encouraging to see the scientific community come together. I’m hoping we will see more of that this time around.
I remember this story coming out way back when Altman was kicked out of openai. Evidently shes been saying this for a while and his standard response was that she was in poor mental health and was either imagining it or making it up because of that. He comes across as a total nard and i tend to believe there was at least some dysfunction between them even if shes remembering things inaccurately. I hope the sister gets closure.
Having seen what the film industry did to Borderlands, my expectations are at about zero for this.
Maybe since it’s a Sony game and Sony movie they will respect the story, but who knows…
This seems like another crazy attention ploy that he likes to pull when he doesn’t want us to see what he’s really up to.
What is he trying to distract us from?
This means lenders will also be barred from using information about medical devices, such as prosthetic limbs, that could be used to require that the devices serve as collateral for a loan for the purposes of repossession.
What kind of sick dystopia do we live in where a prosthetic device could be used as collateral for a loan and reposessed???
Finally some f-ing good news for a change.
Isn’t the multi-player immersive sim thing what Arcane was going for with Redfall? That one didn’t work out so well…
When Trump won the first time, I cleared out any news or politics subs on reddit and took political news off my news feed. It helped my mental health tremendously even if I couldn’t ignore it completely.
I know that it’s not great to be uninformed, but the stress news caused me was just getting overwhelming.
I love these games. I replay them both every few years and they are still fun. I’m still pissed about what happened to Arcane Studios and what could have been had the big corpos not done their usual bs.
Fair enough. Maybe my concern is more with newer cars in general.
I don’t really care for this given the trend of newer car design.
I want to support the environment and all, but an EV car is going to be even worse than an ICE car with having everything controlled by touchscreens and collecting data that the car companies sell off to the highest bidder. It’s harder (if not impossible to customize or repair since the whole thing is based on proprietary software, and the average mechanic isn’t a software engineer.
Why can I just have an EV with a damn button for volume and AC controls?
I have a withings and I really like it. Their privacy policy made me feel better about allowing my info on the cloud. You can run it offline (it sends weight via Bluetooth to the app but won’t show 7-day trend an scale screen without wifi). I don’t mind that, so I leave it disconnected. I don’t use a home assistant though so I can’t speak to that part.
I have the withings watch also, so I use the app as my catch all health tracker which works well. it’s nice to have everything together. Can’t speak to any others but I’d recommend withings.
OH MY GOD PLEASE STOP CONSOLIDATING GAMING STUDIOS. I don’t want all my games to come from Sony and Microsoft.
Not a lawyer, but it seems like changing the ball throwing mechanic is an admission that they are taking ideas from Nintendo. Maybe they are trying to minimize the damage but still seems like they are weakening their position.
When I worked in the federal govt I was horrified by how much contractors charged for everything. And the govies didn’t even bat an eye at paying for it; it was like they just expected things to cost 50-100x market cost and didnt argue with any of them.
How realistic is it that any of them will actually get rejected based on a background check? I mean, the public information on these people is bad enough and they still got nominated. Is the GOP rank and file really going to battle their great leader on these nominations?
I’ve been learning it over the last few weeks, and I can say it definitely has a learning curve for folks used to the Microsoft style, it’s pretty solid. Integration with the affinity photo and designer are nice too - moving assets across them is incredibly easy.
It’s not free but it’s really affordable, and it’s not on a subscription so once you buy it you own it. Would recommend checking it out.
