  • And the arrests?

Where are the CEO’s in handcuffs?

If I pull this shit on a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the level that they did, I’d still go to jail, so why don’t they?

And don’t give me the “but we need car makers” excuse, CEO’s are replaceable

Don’t give me the “but we can’t definitely prove they knew”, they are the CEO’s, that OS what you’re paid millions for, right?

WHEN ARE WE GOING TO JAIL THE RICH CRIMINALS?

It’s so frustrating to have to read that a bunch of rich criminals get away with yet another criminal act and only got a fine which will be paid by the consumer anyway. I can fucking guarantee you that these criminals got a nice bonus for restricting the damage, so for their crimes, they get paid.

And then police wonders why people like Luigi appear? I’m not saying I would do what he may have done, but I am saying that yeah, I fully understand and I fully agree with it. If the justice system refuses to give these criminals the penalties that they give to us, then we’ll just have to do something ourselves. What other option is left?

Seriously, governments over the world: if you don’t want vigilantes killing CEO’s then START FUCKING JAILING CRIMINAL CEO’S AND MANAGERS FOR FUCK SAKE!

If your company commits fraud into the millions then you know, or you get those that signed off on it, but JAIL THEM

Jellyfin, for one, comes to mind

Maybe it should be easier for people to donate something to open source software. Maybe on the Linux command line there should be a message from apt that certain projects could use your financial help, of you want to.

I doubt many people would be pissed if projects just ask for a small donation

  • Just because there was an incident I would not call that a structural problem. We NEED organs to help other people survive, please don’t scare people off from donating them.

Yeah, of course we need to have strict rules and guidelines on how all this has to happen, but please don’t make it sound like if you’re badly injured that a doctor will simply write you off for money, that doesn’t happen.
