Yes it was. But you weren’t listening.
Yes it was. But you weren’t listening.
He was a shady fuck many years ago. They got played and now they gotta deal with it.
Last checked he doesn’t have that money. Am I missing something? Congress controls funding.
Define “unnecessary “. Seriously.
I have used it on old underpowered computers happily for years. There’s just no need for anything with high specs.
My God NBC can’t even put the important fact in the headline? It was a political firing. Maybe they broke some rules but they weren’t fired for breaking the rules. They were fired because of the person that they were targeting.
Well I think we’ve seen that it’s already broken. It was broken years or decades ago and certainly by 2016.
They don’t listen to him, my friend.
And “optimistic about technology” is different from “optimistic about US politics”. But either way, if people actually think there’s no hope, they often don’t bother saying anything at all. Listen to the words, look at the actions. Don’t read too much into tone.
Calling out horrible behavior openly is the winning move. Honesty and integrity matter.
My friend, you can’t have it both ways. If he “made a mistake” and then humbly and profusely apologized, then you could maybe pretend it was accidental… But that’s not what happened, right? He didn’t apologize because he meant it.
We will never, ever, look bad for calling out racism when we see it as clearly as we did here. But we would certainly be horrible human beings if we decided to pretend it wasn’t happening.
Anyway, of course you can do what you feel is right. For me, it’s simple. Fuck that racist motherfucker.
I use Debian on a regular basis and have for years, but I wouldn’t recommend it as the starting distro unless I knew that the user would have very ordinary hardware and no special software needs. It’s just annoying if you have to learn how to install Chrome, or your wireless drivers, for example.
It’s almost simple enough, but not quite, in my view. But if I were helping them get it installed, then after that they would probably be good to go.
Wow, the authors of that article bury the lede… Trump sued Paramount because of what Paramount did covering Harris which actually means Trump doesn’t really have any case, but they might want to pay off Trump because it’s a convenient way to legally bribe him… That’s the real story, that’s what needs to be said, along with any other analysis they feel is needed.
I agree with you but you need to be careful about the details. You’d like to think Americans care about their pocketbook, but so many people voted for Trump with the clear expectation that he would raise the cost of living.
Or maybe they believed his lies, and now we’ve seen that egg prices are higher than ever and gas isn’t going down, but still there’s no public outcry, right? We have millions of Americans who will vote against their own best financial interests.
NextCloud.
And you can argue how it’s different, and that’s the point! You want something different, right? … Right?
Yeah like maybe we want to know what’s true and not just his casual thoughts… Are there visions of a plan? Or thoughts of a plan? Or plans of a plan? That would be useful information too.
You say exploit I say feature.
Well, that’s not exactly what happened. The courts already started blocking it, and rather than admit failure, the budget office wanted to pretend that they were being proactive. Nice try, my dudes.
That’s all good and fun, but investors are global. If rich American investors are getting f***** by the White House, they’re going to send their money abroad.
It’s because it’s a bubble. There’s no tenable product that’s worth anywhere near the amount of money that people are/were pumping into the stocks.
Now there’s competition. So investors have to choose, who do they think is going to be more successful in the future? And that’s a decision based on the predicted value of the actual product.
And if we’re only talking about NVidia, they didn’t have any competition until now. So of course their stock was going to tank.
Right. And people will die because of it. That’s the problem, my friend.
If you live in a small town, your meds might come by mail. Your pension check too. That kind of mission critical thing. And that absentee ballot? Yeah, no, that’s not gonna arrive on time.
Of course one could build alternative services. But in the meantime, at least, it will ruin a lot of things that are working properly right now. That is the point. That is the objective.
