If they operate in those states they need to obtain proof of age. I don’t exactly know how that works, since I haven’t had to do it, but I imagine it is something like uploading a driver’s license picture. If you have all that personal information you have to protect it, or risk information disclosure and lawsuits. A porn favorites list and personal identity info together in the same system is just asking to be hacked.

I’m hopeful and fearful that in the next four years more people will actually figure out who the real villains are. The cracks are really showing now. I just hope working people realize they are being divided and start to push back and demand basic human rights.

Tbf the Democrats aren’t particularly interested in addressing healthcare either… the money has to be removed from the system for it to improve. It is currently working as designed.

Information access is important. What is and isn’t available in our schools and libraries shapes society. Republicans have a vision that merges education and religion while reducing critical thought. This is a step that protects us from that.

I want our government representatives to be held to a higher standard. These people work for us, and if they are breaking the law send them to court AND sentence them like anyone else. There should be no get out of jail free cards for people in your circle.
