I miss forums. I used to host one for a guild on a game I played. We used the forum for quest hints, and long term planning. But then used icq and the like for quick communication.

No. Mastadon is a microblog/twitter platform. While lemmy is a link aggregator/reddit.

except for the 2018 Roku Premiere+ just slowly gets more and more broken over time. The interface will take multiple seconds to respond to a button press after a couple years or so.

weird, back in 2020 I set up a tv in my office to stream. I pulled an old Roku from who knows when (pre2014 when we moved) and hooked it up and it worked great.

August 2001, I moved from Berks County PA, where I was a hundred feet or so too far from getting DSL, to central Maryland where there was Comcast cable already in my apartment.

The post was on all, I never went to your instance until after I sent the report and realized I made a mistake, to which I already admitted to having made a mistake publicly. Now you are following me to other instances and harassing me, and trying to bully me because I did not reply to a PM that I saw at about the same time I saw your reply to this unrelated thread.

You are acting like the report hurt you in some way. If you are this thin skinned about moderating and instance administration you may want to step back.

I did not reply because it was obvious I made a mistake (as a partially blind person does when reading small text.) And you took a widely accepted community name and format and gave it your own twist, then sent a PM that was obviously looking for drama. Which is further obvious here.

I have never had nitro but I did cancel Amazon prime easily.

That is a server specific setting. I have never had to give a phone number unless the server required that level of authorization.

I use signal with my wife and daughter for texting, does it also offer group servers? I keep in touch with most of my business customers through my shop’s discord server.
