Most sites that were hosted before 2010 are gone now.

I hosted a forum for guilds in several games I played over the years. I had mine up from 2005-2019 but my board’s php version got way behind the host‘a and it no longer works. Someday I will find someone to help me fix it, or start a new one.

The benefit to a forum is that posts with new comments move to the top. If a Reddit/Lemmy post gets a single new comment it may or may not be seen again by anyone except the OP or of the comment was a reply then to the op of the replied comment.

Some forums do have up/down votes as well as nested comments.

It was the Star Wars IP that saved LEGO in the late 90s and early 00s. They do still have their own lines, and they have brought back some of the old faves for a time.

I posted two guides in the pokemon community about transferring. Transferring a shiny costs almost the entire energy bar, moving my shiny mew took it all. It takes a week to regenerate it all.

If you go into the community’s sidebar you can see who the moderators are and you can message each of them individually.

Too bad Arizona is in the way, NM wants to join you at least parts of us do.

If you wanted to you can transfer them to Pokémon Home then to a switch game. You are limited in how many you can transfer per day I think.

There are a lot better communities to use for this than a world news community. Try any of the gaming, or the streaming communities.

I got my first watch, a pebble as a novelty. But really ended up enjoying it by being able to have my phone on silent and still get notifications via the watch. This was especially important while I was working as a theatre manager and front of house audio engineer. I could get texts and such from my crew while my phone was silent as to not interrupt the show. The day I left the job I put the watch in a drawer (5 years ago) and have never used it since.

I would like a health tracker with minimal or no screen that I can get notices such as phone calls and texts from my wife and kids as I still keep my phone in silent and often miss calls.

Getting in trouble for upvoting restricted material. If you continually upvote stuff that reddit deems not allowed on the site you get banned.
