I know that. My point is China keeps saying things as if they are really held back, but the reality is they’re themselves afraid of stirring the shit and getting effed up by world at large.
If you check my comment history, you’ll see that I support Taiwan.
Who’s stopping them anyway? Just do it if you are so obsessed with it.
Nintendo store’s seal of quantity strikes again.
Scoop!
Thanks for your sacrifice
While it’s true that both python and js are interpreted languages, making them highly portable, JS at that time was a very lightweight language with a robust runtime offered by mozjs, that was built to be easy to embed into other systems, while python was designed for being the framework in which you build apps directly, hence requiring deeper dependencies.

Most definitely. Idk why they thought weekly cutscenes of literally nobodies would be something PvP players would be into.
From what I can gather
I also see people lamenting that lua wasn’t chosen, so there’s that.
And that’s a fact
This is why I think saying live service overwatch likes have no space isn’t a fair explanation to why Concord failed.
Some of the reasons why I think it failed:
Fun fact, roughly half of gnome-shell codebase is written in JavaScript.
SSD and 60 fps was the biggest perceptible change this gen for me. Going from 1 minute to boot the console, 1 minute to start the game and 1 minute to load a save to just 60s to jump straight into gameplay changes how one interacts with the console.
Similarly, it may not seem like a lot but 30 fps > 60 fps is a 16.66ms difference while 60 -> 120 is 8.33ms difference.
Neither of these change how a game looks. One may argue chasing next gen graphics has lead to poorer image quality (we’re looking at 720p upscaled to 4k), so staying same as previous gen but 60 or even 120 fps would’ve been a much better route in hindsight.
With this knowledge, I feel the next gen might give us 120 and 240 fps games (frame generation might help to ease CPU burden) for cross gen stuff while most games would burn themselves trying to path trace at 720p at 40 fps and abuse upscaling and frame generation to pass it off as 4k120 (yes that’s 2 ai frames between 2 real frames)
EA lost its reputation but objectively they’ve been trying to undo that. Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor, while stuttery, had no micro transactions or online requirements, Dead Space remake was as simple as possible, Dragon Age ditched live service plan and was released in a very polished state, NFS Unbound just got a new update and has been well supported. The games may not be 10/10 or exactly what gamers wanted, but they’ve been trying to put their head down and do the work.
I’d suggest everyone to just watch the documentary instead of getting a catchy headline every other day blowing everything out of proportion.
Which is why I feel Intel releasing well before 5xxx series is out gives them some space to shine. If indeed 5060 is 8gb SKU, they would win again.
The problem with new generation nvidia cards would be that they’d much more faster, efficient and stable but crippled by low VRAM and most probably $50-100 more expensive.
Yeah. It’s not hard because it involves skill it’s hard because your stats are low. Once you raise them up by doing things, it’s just mechanical clunk.
However I really like how this simple RPG system ties in with the story of Henry and how ordinary he is in the beginning of the story. It really makes you feel like a loser in the first half of the game and then a murdering millionaire working multiple jobs and an expert in couple of disciplines towards the end.
Interesting, right before Indiana Jones release.
Do they think it won’t bump GamePass numbers so this deal will make it feel like that post launch?
Or do they think players are so hyped about the game and this is a way to get them addicted to the idea of subscription service instead of letting them buy full price because subscriptions pay off better in the long run?
You’ve been virtue signalling all this while!?
