A switched network does come with the disadvantage of needing switches and since you need high bandwidth and optimally a Ceph storage network completely physically separated from everything else it can be quite an expense. It’s very neat though 😀

If you do want to use Ceph you could probably use NICs with multiple ports per NIC.

Additionally you could use switches instead of a fully mesh system.

Full mesh is pretty neat but gets overwhelming very quickly if you have many nodes. With switching you only need two ports per node for your Ceph network.

You would have to get a credit card though.

I don’t have one and I don’t want one. A debit card is good enough for me and those are possible and common to get before you turn 18.

I also imagine it’s easier for kids to get their parents to enter their credit card details compared to an ID card without asking questions.

Yeah, but we should still build more renewable energy production and obviously more resilient and redundant energy infrastructure.

Building energy production to export even more electricity is surely very profitable and also good for the environment.

I remember the winter 1 or 2 years ago when we exported a fuck ton electricity and apparently our clean electricity displaced enough foreign dirty electricity to reduce the carbon footprint by as much as Sweden annually carbon footprint from cars.

They could try doing something. I dunno maybe trading limits and/or time-outs combined with DMCA takedowns.

Maybe the cost of setting up casinos isn’t very high but it takes time to build up trust from consumers and get customers.

If they can shutdown the biggest casinos that are sponsoring YouTubers and competitions that’s at least a decent win.
