This will continue (the whole of America suffering) until someone wrangles in Trump…
… or he gets us into a major war we can’t win.

I forgot about his diapers 🤦🏻♂️. Groooooooosssssss
Trump is such garbage. There is never a time when he doesn’t act like a spoiled child.
Nailed it.
Guy who does nothing demands to know how workers spend their time.
Currently using Arctic for iOS. I was using Voyager for a while, but the Arctic dev (devs?) are so good about bug fixes and adding new features, I had to switch.
Yeah, I get what you’re saying about me not having actually experienced the full gameplay. I guess the lack of turn-based play is what made me not super interested to begin with, though.
I’m old (ha), and my favorite games are the old FF series, Baldur’s Gate, etc. that all have turn-based combat. Maybe I enjoy it because I’m slow 😂
Ah, I see what you’re saying. Under normal circumstances, I would suggest to new users to signup on the “flagship instance”, but in Lemmy’s case… nah.
To be perfectly honest, I’m not certain what content I’m not seeing because, well, I haven’t seen it 😅. Some instances seem to do a good job of only blocking content from notoriously bad sources.
I assumed (probably incorrectly) that users would be visiting Lemmy via apps, so the UX would depend on which app they used.
I don’t know. I have a soft spot for Lemmy. The interactions here seem more genuine less about updoots.
I watched a friend of mine play it shortly after its release, and while it was pretty entertaining at times to watch, I just didn’t like the combat system.
I suppose it could be because I’ve invested hundreds of hours into the original, dating back to its launch. I don’t know. But the charm just isn’t in the remake, IMHO.
“We would call it a coup, but we’re afraid.”
Can any of these people do anything? It’s insane. There’s a lot of talk, but no one is stopping anything, or (seemingly) trying.
There’s only so much that words can do.
Americans need to start taking responsibility for their own actions or inaction instead of constantly looking for someone else to blame.
Totally agree. I’m not sure when Americans became so complacent that they’d rather quietly observe than, say, protest.
Looking back on the Civil Rights movement, for example, Americans did what was necessary and right. Same goes for protesting the Vietnam War. Even as recent as BLM protests. It just seems oddly quiet to me lately.

Dumb question, but does the page source show where the video is contained?
I meant democratic leadership, not citizens.
Stand down, captain!
Exactly. They blatantly sabotage Bernie Sanders, preventing arguably the last sane politician available.
More than that, Democrats have gradually shifted right over time, so what is considered “liberal” these days is actually closer to older generations of Republicans prior to Reagan.
I don’t think there’s a true left-leaning party in America anymore.
Considering the near-complete silence from almost all democrats, I’m beginning to believe that this is something that America was already leaning into anyway, and that Trump is a nice patsy to blame it on.
How they (the entirety of the government) can sit back idly — throwing out occasional soundbites for good measure — and allow this to happen makes me feel defeated.
Freedom and liberty were the just the rose that held the thorns of fascism.
Edit: I feel like I should add that I am in no way trying to alleviate Trump from any guilt that he deserves. Calling him a patsy just seems like I’m letting him off. I’m certainly not. The guy is a total piece of trash.
Oh this is nice. Thanks for sharing!
