The announcement resolves one of my last fears for Aux: development on Nix itself. It is no secret that the number of people knowledgeable about the project and are willing to work on this CPP codebase is small. You have probably seen me mention multiple times by now that @sig_cli needs all of the help that we can get. Lix resolves this entirely with a trusted team of experts. This means that Aux is now able to remove Nix development from our priorities and can instead collaborate with Lix moving forward.
Here it is fine for me in a browser on the desktop. Maybe your server blocked or muted something or has some configuration mistake ? Or maybe on your phone app ? Test on a few different browsers on desktop ? Try un-subcribe and then sub again ?
If you like NixOS for its packages, you can install a Systemd free OS, and then add Nix package manager. /e/os is LineageOS + microG with an easy installer available or pre-installed purchase. The interface design is based on how iOS works, for example to move an icon on your phone long press one of the icons and wait till they all go wiggling and then drag the icon to where you want to have it.
I think /e/os is okay for folks who want a deGoogled phone that comes pre-installed.
In case anyone wants to try the /e/os easy installer on an old and supported phone, the /e/os easy install is really much more easy compared to plain LineageOS install.
