Oh I’m absolutely certain that there was either attempts at fraud or plans for fraud, at minimum. I don’t believe that it proved necessary in the end or changed the overall outcome, unfortunately. But way way way too many election deniers were getting put into positions where they could obstruct, influence or undermine the vote after the last election in preparation to (heavy-ass quotes) “protect the integrity of the 2024 election”, spear-headed by some of the least integrious people in politics, for there not to have been intentions to win by whatever means necessary. We also can’t forget that those people are still there and will absolutely be ready to act as necessary for the next election too

Oh I don’t think he is stupid, at least not in terms of making a buck. I’ve not actually visited his stand to see his price and quality, but I would venture to guess that his margins are astronomical.

There’s a dude that hawks Trump branded shit year round in my area. He has this popup stand with flags, t shirts, hats, and other Trump bullshit. He seems to bounce back and forth between two locations in my town and the next one over, but he does this year round. I know he’s making money. He’s been doing it for years and there’s plenty of idiots flying Trump flags in their yards and on their trucks around here.

I almost wish I didn’t have a sense of shame. I wouldn’t mind making a few bucks off of the literal worse people in the country by selling them stupid cheap knick knacks.

Was the gun in the shooting a ghost gun? Either way, ghost guns can be illegal independently of their connection to a shooting, so he’s likely gonna get it for that if nothing else. But yeah, if it is the same gun, definitely should have destroyed that bad boy immediately.

Hell this exact amendment was openly ignored for nearly a century in that it is also meant to provide equality under the law for all citizens. But Women couldn’t even vote for decades after this amendment was passed. Then there were a ton of laws on the books that were actively enforced that discriminated on race, sex, etc. Women’s Suffrage and the Civil Rights Movement should not have been necessary after this amendment was passed. And yet…

If you’re worried that your CEO will be murdered, that might be an indicator that you have some deep problems as a company. If you’re all worried, that may be an indicator that your entire industry is a problem.

Yeah, people can be entirely earnest and sincere and still be awful people. A terrible person doesn’t have to be based in a self-serving/opportunistic mindset. They can just have backwards beliefs that result in destructive ideas and actions even while being technically principled and upstanding in terms of the ethics of their role and the law.

That’s a really bad take. A) Doing a job which is not specifically to carry out Trump’s will is not supporting him. B) Federal jobs are not inherently political, in fact very few are. C) even if they were in positions to effect political outcomes, they could use those positions to counter Trump’s agenda. They can’t do that if they quit. D) Nobody should be expected to abandon their livelihood for themselves and their families because they are tenuously, barely, kind of in a position that forwards Trump’s administrations policies. A USDA meat inspector quiting to spurnTrump will do nothing to Trump and yet ruin their career.

They’re working class people and the job market is shit. “Just quit” is a much bigger statement when you don’t have another job lined up and have bills to pay.

Anti-competitive, anti-net-neutral, unethical bullshit from a man for which none of that is surprising. And an incoming FCC chair who will abide, allow and even encourage this sort of thing despite it actively making the net worse for consumers, creators, news outlets, retailers, students, politicians, free speech advocates,… Basically everyone that doesn’t own one of like 10 damn websites or major ISPs.

No, it doesn’t. A socialist plan would be offering free tuition to any student to use at any university, free tuition at public universities, or creating and funding schools owned by the staff. This “American Academy” bullshit sounds like a way to A) take over higher education so that it can be propagandized for the right (like they already claim it is for the left), B) Justify defunding other forms of higher education assistance particularly for left leaning universities, and C) funnel billions from tax payers into some hand picked cronies to run his diploma mills and pay it forward in kick backs to him. Mark my words.
