Yeah especially without full feature parity with YouTube premium. This $7.99 price should omit music but everything else from premium should be included, and even that feels a little expensive.

Every previous YouTube premium post used to be inundated with people asking for a YouTube premium that didn’t include music because everyone already has music from Apple or Spotify. This is YouTube’s offering for that, except it’s a shitty version that takes away more than just music.

With apple you’re limited to 5 sending addresses per domain, so no I cannot reply as the from address to most, but that hasn’t been an issue for me at all.

Depends on your use case. I went with using a custom domain with my iCloud mail account. This lets me accept all messages sent to my custom domain.

So when I create accounts I just use that as the email address like this: lemmy@customDomain.com, bsky@customDomain.com, etc.

They all go to one mailbox but that’s all I need anyway. I’ve been happy with it.

I had the same experience with my first trial last month.

It seems like Bluesky kind of did all of this with ATProto but they’re just met with constant criticisms

Yeah but repairs don’t get taken care of by a landlord. When you buy a home, you have even less monthly funds available for mortgage because you also need to be saving a little for the big repair things that come up.

Renting allows those repair expenses to be handled by the landlord rather than the tenant. Renting is not inherently a worse decision than buying, there are pros and cons to both.
