As the first comment said, “absolutely devastate the lower classes in the US.”

Anywhere but here. Wouldn’t want to jeopardize the many billions in contracts that the muskrat’s companies have with the department of defense.
I like the story I heard about someone’s Chinese evangelical uncle who thinks trump was chosen by God…as part of a larger plan to destroy the United States.
I’m not religious at all, but this God sound pretty cool 😋
He wants to isolate is, but we can’t isolate him! I guess if you get your head far enough up your own arse it makes sense?
As we should. The US empire is collapsing, and even when they weren’t collapsing, they don’t really see any of us as “allies”, we’re either useful to them, or not. They’ve never done “loyalty”.
The Yemenis are badass. I wish them nothing but success against the empire and its minions.
I have only ever opened this by accident, and once open, I’ve only ever wanted to find the button that makes it go away again.
I think ford is an opportunist before all else. Whatever he thinks, in the moment, will score him some points, he does.
This trade war opportunity was perfect for him, because bullying comes naturally, and a lot of Canadians wanted to hear some snark thrown back at the cheeto president.
But the longer it goes on, the more it becomes clear that “let’s hurt some Americans” is the entire plan, and it’s not actually all that helpful.
What do you think these companies were freely competing for? It’s profits. It has always been profits.
Cartels and monopolies are what happens when you have “free competition” for a bit, and then someone “wins” the competition.
I hear people say that and really hope they’re talking about recent local polling, and not some vague notion that “the NDP can’t win”.
That’s fucked up.
Por que no los dos?
Dodging the question, nice.
Equating “both sides” in this case is super gross.
how isn’t firing rockets at your neighbours’ population centres anything but terrorism?
So you consider Israel a terrorist state, right?
Silly me, assuming all of Canada lives in Ontario. Still nifty, and I’ll have to keep an eye out for these in my local Ontario grocers too.
I don’t know why people downvoted this, but yes, it’s clear that she never blocked him, which would be the reasonable thing to do. Your interpretation seems totally reasonable to me.
“Pro-terrorism”? Man if someone was murdering all my friends and relatives, I’d be pretty damn “pro-shooting-rockets-at-them” too.
Don’t fall for the israeli bullshit where “Palestinian” and “terrorist” are literally the same word.
This is really cool. Besides the US being malignant, fresh berries in the winter are typically air freight (they don’t last long enough for a truck ride from California) and that significantly increases the carbon footprint of the product. Growing them in a local greenhouse addresses both problems!
Getting the police involved because someone is annoying on twitter just seems like a bad precedent.
Like if his behaviour actually does constitute harrassment, that’s a concern, but as far as I can see it seems like he’s just loud and opinionated. If you don’t like it, use the block button.
Per that list, the US counts for a little over 10% of China’s trade, and if the previous comment is accurate, that’s 10% of, at most, 40%. So, let’s say ~5% of the economy in a worst-case scenario.
It’s not nothing, but they could probably make it nothing in a couple of years, at the pace they’ve been going.
