  • Its probably because Apple would be legally required to hand shit over snd Apple does a number of things like when you sign in the normal way it activates iCloud and backups everything and makes everything available to icloud.

Everything used to be cleartext to apple before advanced protection (even tho thats more like a bulletproof transparent glass window, rather than black box) so if they had to hand user accounts over, they got everything. Its probably still that way there

Also, by default it backed up to iCloud (Backups) which contained iMessage keys as well so they could pretty much get access to everything). I imagine russia forces Apple to escrow all e cryption keys like on Mac and whatever else

  • I kinda hope loca models become or are available that capture the best of what is available ot whats coming tho.

It took a while for me to warm up to it but their code generation alone has been a huge positive for me as well as its abillity to edit code to make it work. I wouldnt trust it for anything super important or at least not without testing out all the gamut of edge cases to ensure its consistently doing what I want and outputting as expected but I use it regularly to spec a solution to smaller problems that i can immediately test and feed back to it if theres issues

  • I was struggling to think where i recognized that bit was but you just solved that. They want rent, never for you to own anything, much less anything tangible that cant be taken away or revoked or forced to surrender or relinquish

Appl does the same with music and videos and audiobooks and books They want to license it to you and for you to have zero access to the actual files and brainwash entire ongoing new generations to not even understand a file system/owning real files and knowing where to get basically any file you want. The whole notion of a file having tangible value and operable
