Gets so fucking old that there is always someone who will go out of their way to drag conversations down into negativity and mansplainingly remind everyone there’s some fucking reason we should have a problem with something even though right here in the immediate it’s hurting nobody. Doesn’t excuse this or counteract the amount of negative stuff, but I will never forget this interesting news like 10-15 years ago of a guy who saved someone’s life on the side of the road after a car crash.
Apparently whatever he did medically he said he learned from I think the game was America’s Army, which was directly made by the US military as some form of simulation or something.
I guess it was just interesting that it had real enough things that someone actually learned inadvertently how to save a life from a video game the military had involvement in.
Amazing to me how internet comments just seem to ALWAYS have experts who know everything about any quirky topic and will state things as if it’s so simple and obvious.

Explain these assholes who do hard drugs and ruin the lives of everyone around them, and eventually get off drugs but still smoke like freight trains into their 80s and even when finally on breathing machines.
Meanwhile some good people who never did much wrong nor tried to destroy their body just randomly die at 50-60 years old.

The Bethesda remake is supposedly using some Frankenstein of the original engine shoved into unreal. It’ll suck.
Though in their defense, it’s not being done by Bethesda at all. It’s being done by some studio who has mainly only done support work for other studios bigger games. I think called Virtuoso?
A long time ago, I read one of their developers say you require the original games since the mod is specifically designed not to re-provide you with any copyright material from either game, and in fact I think it’ll look for and use the files you have like any other mod.
This was done on purpose so they can never worry about being shut down or sued if they ensure they never wrongly re-use or provide copyrighted materials. Probably a smart move for such a massive undertaking.

The vast majority don’t. The bottom half don’t pay any federal taxes, and in fact get more back in their refund than they paid in. The rest barely pay at all. 90% of federal income comes from the top few percent.
Local income taxes, sales taxes, lack of wage increases, rent increasing, are all the bigger issues that screw the lower class.
TOTK looks and runs like crap. Also the world feels bland and empty compared to most other open world RPG’s. At least a little effort from Nintendo would go a long way, but especially climbing some mountains with crappy textures and jagged edges looks eerily similar to a lot of PS2 games I still play.
I recently tried Star Wars Battlefront from 2015 on my PC and holy crap it looks good.
