I’m sure there are some that are happy but you never hear about them. A secure, well-adjusted individual with boat-loads of money doesn’t need to stir shit up. They can relax.
The insecure, maladjusted individuals will constantly be defending themselves against perceived threats despite having the means to offload all of that to paid professionals.

Importing fresh eggs is probably a non-starter, anyway. Look around your country at the price of eggs, it varies a lot even at large scales. Eggs don’t ship that well.
But throwing money at basic science research could, actually, solve the problem. Eradicate bird flu and the prices will drop. But you’d need a pro-science administration to do that.

This is what neighborhoods in my area do but without the ads. Around here there are distinct neighborhoods that have their own names but no official designation. People have, since before social media, set up mailing lists for each neighborhood moderated by one of the residents.
There’s occasional drama but mostly it’s people asking for tradespeople recommendations, curb alerts for furniture or photos of loose pets.
NextDoor-type services have tried to establish a presence but have mostly been ignored.
Maybe it’s the geography or the early adoption of e-mail lists but mailing lists work great around here.
At this point I expect they’ll put a literal fox in charge of poultry plant inspections.

I’d hazard to guess that they got wind that other four are thinking of kicking out the USA and are trying to get ahead of it.
The Five Eyes are supposed to be a bulwark against Russia and, later, terrorists. Now that the USA is aligning with Russia, sharing intel with them doesn’t seem like such a good idea.

I think part of their plan is to get rid of federal workers, let private industry replace government services, and lower private wages with the flood of federal works.

Exactly. When video recording was expensive stuff would get thrown out or overwritten a lot. Films had to be stored in the correct environment, video tapes were expensive and got reused. Stuff was lost that arguably would have some value now. But, the world isn’t going to hell for lack of early films or some episodes of a TV show.
Nowadays, it’s just too cheap to make videos and the volume has made the average quality go down. We don’t need to hoard Twitch streams and cat videos. Nothing will be lost that will be missed in 50 years. Conserving some might be interesting but it’s not going to impact people’s lives or history all that much.
And they’ll do so under the pretense of “will nobody think of the children” while prominent Brits have gotten away with raping kids practically in the open. They didn’t even need encryption, they had people willingly turning a blind eye.
Funniest thing about that is they only help in an all-out fire fight to protect your vital bits except the head which would have a helmet. She’s not going into any situation nearly so dangerous and if someone wanted to take her out, specifically, there’s plenty of options.
