This doesn’t address the fire hazard at all.

I havent read the paper and surely he did a great job. Regardless of that, and in principle, anyone can do this in less than hour. The trick is to get an external confirmstion for all the discoveries you’ve made.
That’s probably the pricing before including anything (cpu, ram, ssd, ports.)
The more reason to get a Steam Deck.
GAFAM is all one hydra.
This is great. Thanks!!
Perhaps you may want to diversify on those that are feeding propaganda to you ;)
Check this out (and its most voted comment that clarifies few errors)

That is a list of EU mande videogames.
We have solarpunk’s techno-realism though. It’s not a political party, that’s why many won’t see it. But it’s definitively there… like open source projects, hardware, fediverse, and so on.
Let me add FireDragon, a Floorp fork with librewolf and other changes.
A fork is desirable. Then we can have antifa hacktivists contributing to that source with malware to scare them out of their dumb political views.
Not one mention to moderation. The strength and focus of our “small isles” is on taking control of moderating the contents. We can stop fascists posts, and we can share alternative narratives (e.g. solarpunk) to Sillicon Valley. Plus, spoiler alerts as content warnings, etc. I think mastodon with their covenant is the greatest example of this ethos.
Not a counterpoint, but to extend a bit on how it could be done: encrypted data. Or, self-hosting server part available, like Mozilla’s (i.e. GarduaLinux has a fork of Librewolf/ Floorp, called Firedragon which uses their own firefox server for account sync)
How did you get from 128 GiB of RAM, as the reported specs, to 96 VRAM ?
Just the memes, and then I hear someone mention some atrocity and I understand the half of them :p
Not sure if this is what you’re are after, but https://github.com/lakinduakash/linux-wifi-hotspot allows, among other things, to share the Ethernet-connected PC internet (with VPN if needed) as a WLAN for TVs, Phones, etc.
To make things more infuriating, Meta was found “unable” to stop or censor hate speech in many opportunities…
Didn’t both distros have Btrfs auto snapshots. Same as Garuda. Anything broken? Just a reboot, arrow keys, and rollback.
Apprently, yes. Haven’t tested it (yet). Btw you are on a kbin instance. Fyi, Mbin is a community fork that superseded kbin with new features (more info on the link’s homepage…)
Adding a high quality smart switch to a 5-year old battery might do some good, of course. But this is a cluster of old batteries, all in bad shape for many years of usage under different circumstances, temperatures, etc. And they’re all different models. Each battery will need a different time for going from 20 to 80%… it’s wild.
I do this kind of risk assessment on the worst scenario, a fire could turn your home into ashes. The only option to me, being strict, would be removing those batteries (after all, your main goal is to re-use the other hardware.) But that’s only possible in a handful of phone models… it’s just unfortunate. I guess I should get a FairPhone next time!
