you are just funneling BILLIONS into your Military Industrial Complex, which is good for the shareholder value of the usual suspects, while dropping off your used stuff all over Europe. The US are mainly helping themselves. It just happens to also help Ukraine.
but Apple Karma is so wrecked, it’s hopeless

for GOG Games you can use the process i described here; just download the offline installers and go from there.
(just a small remark: lutris sometimes chooses the wrong executable to run, especially with unity games (it tends to select the crashhandler instead of the game exe) - if you run the game and nothing happens, check the settings.

I’m running Nobara, so the basics like wine, Nvidia drivers … are already set up OOTB. There are multiple ways, but i like the way Lutris does it:
Heroic Launcher’s installation is a bit more streamlined, but i found Lutris can do more stuff - i don’t know if i would have managed to mod my (owned) Battletech installation (BTA3062) so easily with Heroic. (involved setting a bunch of Envvars and dll overrides)
If any of those who pirate PC games are reading here: for now all my pillaged goods are working fine on Steam Deck and on Desktop Linux.
Grim Dawn (currently playing Community Season 7! check it out @ https://grimdawnleague.com/, Dead Cells and Terraria (and most of that time unmodded - i just love building cozy or not so cozy homes).
From what i can see here, the USA are currently socially regressing from Bioshock 1 to Bioshock Infinite.
I’m sure you downloaded a few system builder Windows ISOS too you smug bastard 🤭
i agree, they do deliver pretty good researched articles. it’s the only news site that gets monthly donations from me, and i’m not even interested in podcasts
just wanted to drop that for the selfhosters there is https://fediseer.com/ which provides an API (which makes getting a crowdsourced and up to date whitelist easy)
“fuck the overwhelming majority of russians” doesn’t have the same ring to it.
that might be. i am a pure single-player (with a bit of local coop mixed in) player, and i prefer roguelites, VNs with actual gaming elements and FPS / “Immersive Sim”-Style games, and currently the Vampire Survivor category with Yet another Zombie Survival and Halls of Torment. I try out a lot of games (If theres a Fitgirl or DODI release of it and even somewhere in my ballpark i’ll test it).
Most issues i have stem from modding games without Workshop support, using external Mod Managers like Vortex sucks on Linux.
thanks for the recommendation, will try it out over the next few days :-)
wow, a personal insult is all you got? sorry, but that is definitly not a discourse i wish to continue, it’s simply not worth my time.
i’m currently using Alpaca with a few LLMs installed, but i really like llama2 uncensored, which is pretty fast and responsive on my system.
