You make it sound like the same people did both things…
I dislike this fact, because I very clearly remember when it was brand spanking new
I agree that’s it’s a valid game mechanic. It’s just one I don’t like.
It’s a small piece of the gameplay, but the randomness it forces rather than just always using OP moves gives it a lot of replayability.
This was basically the reason for me to never play it again (with the dreadfully poorly made “socializing” part a close second). I absolutely hate when my strategy has to be based on randomness and I need to hope for a good card to do the thing I want.
It’s absolutely a deckbuilding game, just not a roguelite deckbuilder.
And more
The small Geldmaat machines have a limit on the number of bills (probably due to being really small). I think it’s like 15 bills, and they don’t carry 50 euro bills. So it caps at 300.
Also, you can probably increase that limit in your bank app.
The vast majority of ATMs are Geldmaat. Their page is here: https://www.geldmaat.nl/nl/diensten/opnemen/biljetten-opnemen/
I never found them to have limits with a foreign card, or at least, 550 euro was no problem last year, though you do pay a higher withdrawal fee above 400 euro. If your foreign card doesn’t use euros, it’s 5% for DCC (which isn’t exactly great either).
He was a rich dude in the 16 to 1700s, his wealth could only come from the suffering of others.
Nobody gains massive wealth without the suffering and exploitation of others, not the 1700s, not in 800BC and not today.
There was a LOT of hype that they never achieved too, and tons of content shown off in trailers and previews that never made the game.
The train was very much a playable area in previews, not in the game, taxis were shown, but also not in the game. The population density is much lower, and (of course) emergent npc behaviour (a random NPC actually going to a bar to play pool, or basketball, instead of just standing there. Robberies just occurring) isn’t nearly as amazing as promised. There were supposed to be more classes that never appeared, and the life path system was shown to be much bigger than just the three skill check options in dialogue that made it into the game.
Mostly, I believe that’s just players being super upset and hunting down every “broken promise” because the game was a buggy mess instead of the second coming.
Wat is dit, meer geld voor het OV?
Ohhh, ze hebben er persoonlijk nut van, dat verklaard het.
Wow, they made Warcraft look like a flash game…
This sounds rather bad for Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe (https://www.openttd.org/)
I mean, it was not-terrible for most of it (not counting the quality of dialogue), just not this exact scene, which was absolutely fucking terrible, and barely even involved the character in question. I really can’t imagine how they thought “Other people should talk about their gender!” was a good idea.
This video is private?
Yes, but not competent ones.
Let’s hope the destroy themselves before they elect competent fascists instead of this bunch
Exactly. Basically nobody in their 30s can, say, drive a manual car without a synchro, unless they specifically practiced it, because there is zero need to learn that skill. And basically nobody under 20 can set port forwarding on a router because there is basically zero need for that skill.
When I wanted sound on Arkanoid, I HAD to learn IRQ settings, so I did. But now that stuff just works.
If Adolf Orban hates it, then by default it must be a good thing!
Good! Vintage Story started as a mod for Minecraft and is now an absolutely amazing game, hoping this will be the same story.
Ehhhh that’s not what I’ve been seeing recently. They’ll add a fuckton of post-processing so that it looks good in screenshots, and terrible in actual play.
