This is straight up word salad. Care to propose a policy?

Watch this investigation go quiet as they figure out some massive company’s contamination caused this in the area.
You are mistaken or delusional. Things can always get worse.
$15,000 - $30,000 simply isn’t affordable to me and tons of other people and I want the freedom to not to have to drive.
Well, I’m in favour of decommodification which would totally end that problem. The problem is that I’m not hearing that from any of our politicians…
Again, it’s not about risking to get yourself killed. Kids cycle in the winter every day in countries with climates colder than ours. It’s not about the weather, it’s about the infrastructure in your and the way it prepares for the winter. The video I linked is much more graceful and by a guy who moved from Canada to the Netherlands specifically to raise his kids in a better environment where they can independently get around.
Besides decommodification, the other end goal here is enough affordable houses that it’s no longer a lottery and simply open as an option to people in general.
Fuck yeah, I’ve been saying governments just need to ignore the minority of NIMBYs at this point to actually improve things
I live in Alberta, I know well what happens in the winter. Although a lot of the problems are about the way your city prepares for the weather than the weather itself. Both feel equally changeable sometimes though…
Ebikes are already insanely affordable and cars are here to save the car industry, most certainly not the environment. Any way forward will be about moving away from using cars for every single journey (especially the 40% done daily that are under 5km) and designing our streets to move people, rather than metal boxes.
Would much rather have this money invested in light rail for cities because that decreases road accidents year round.
Use ublock origin if you aren’t already.
GIMP and Krita are much more versatile than folks give them credit for. And of course there’s Inkscape for vector. I would suggest learning on these tools and if you find yourself limited then you can start considering other options.
Seems like liberal head-in-sand shit to me. People really need to get over the fact that Pierre is trying to do it here and worse, that he’s been pretty successful so far. If people don’t face that we don’t have a chance.
Personally pissing off President Musk is going to become a great little pastime of anyone with some extra time on their hands and I am absolutely in favour.
This is surely a smokescreen for Google’s monopolization of Internet standards.
And even if weren’t, I cannot emphasize enough how much that list of companies should also NOT be in charge of setting open standards. Oligopoly, monopoly with the illusion of choice…
But it’s becoming more accepted that it is specifically a cancer risk, and not just all the other bad things it does to you.
Sounds like someone doesn’t know the importance of furries in the free software community yet
I live in Alberta and the amount of people that are basically American cosplayers is insane. They want to be Texan badly. And they have no beliefs, so if they think selling oil to America makes them look or sound strong they will support it.
