The base game and the extension once a year + the sub were the ticket. Pricy, but when you consider how many hours the typical player spends in game it’s not that crazy.

These were the coolest.
Yeah but the DJI maps don’t match at all with the official ones at least here in Europe so it’s really just right next to the airports etc when the actual no-fly zone is a 10km circle. That’s what I mean actually, they do have all the abilities but just don’t implement it properly. Don’t get me wrong I’d rather my expensive tool just do what I ask it to without being a nanny, but just saying the technology is there.
Right, the “pilot” was definitely breaking the rules big time (and just generally being a dumbass, if you see the firefighters planes/helicopters and don’t land the drone I don’t know wtf is wrong with you).
Just saying, these sub-250 exceptions are pretty stupid because now everyone is getting one of these, and not paying any attention to the rules because “my drone doesn’t count”.
That person probably never even looked at the drone map (not even just that day, like, ever). So they’d never know there was a no-fly in place. DJI is also partly to blame to be honest because the drones definitely have the ability to warn you about it or even prevent you from taking off but they don’t.
Source: I’m a certified drone pilot in Europe flying professionally.
Article shows a pic of the drone and it’s a mini (249g).
I guess we have most of the ingredients to make this happen. Software-wise we’re there, hardware wise I’m still waiting for AR glasses I can replace my normal glasses with (that I wear 24/7 except for sleep). I’d accept having to carry a spare in a charging case so I swap them out once a day or something but other than that I want them to be close enough in terms of weight and comfort to my regular glasses and just give me AR like overlaid GPS, notifications, etc, and indeed instant translation with subtitles would be a function that I could see having a massive impact on civilization tbh.
Yeah looking into it this morning I see that it’s only that some parents have forbidden their divorced spouses from posting pics of the kids online, basically you need to have parental approval (I know because the daycare asked us if we’d allow them, we don’t). So yeah I guess as long as the parents are doing it, it’s legal. Feels so wrong.
I assume that was already the case before, as far as I know that’s also not allowed here in my EU country (but I’m just making assumptions).

I was thinking tattoo…
Also you’re quite far away from the screen so even if it’s bigger you don’t need as much resolution.
WoW was my answer, there’s tons of taverns and you can buy alcohol and it makes your character tipsy, doesn’t walk straight anymore and the vision gets blurry. I’m pretty sure most of these RPG style games have things like that.
World of warcraft has many a tavern to quench your thirst.
And they definitely exist there’s loads of ways they can combine smart eco-friendly strategies like this one or mixed crops and economies of scale as well. Solar energy in combination with sheep etc is also good. It requires both good scientific research but also and critically a good implementation and incentives with the farmers in real world conditions.
Yeah this whole story is first grade script material.
I’m no economist but at some point doesn’t that fall apart? If everything needs to be generating then aren’t we creating a vacuum at the bottom or whatever? Money has to come in and go out equally in the end, no?
Any recommendations for other media set in post-war Japan?
We (NATO countries) would have your back but damn is this a bleak thought, I do not like imagining this situation unfolding at all.
From my personal observations and conversations with people in the Netherlands this seems about right, and I’d say the 51% are mostly going to be more in the “don’t care” camp, with a tiny portion maybe having a positive view of Elon/maga, we do have right wingers here too even if they’re different.
