That doesn’t sound like a good business practice.
We sell our oil to the US. We make money. US has a stronger dollar, so that help, too.
We buy oil from other countries. We save money. It’s cheaper since our dollar is stronger than their dollar.
Transportation costs are cheap enough that moving oil over countries is profitable versus refining and using our own oil. It’s a trading game.
I hear a lot of pro-CPC in the area too. I think there may actually be a shift.
With Charlie Angus leaving, I’m curious if North Eastern Ontario will stay NDP. I hear a lot of people support the conservative party.
Who will replace him?
Especially when wood working.
I heard that was corrected by wearing proper sized gloves and by keeping your hands away from the sharp, spinning, or moving bits. But it’s a well-kept secret.
They’re right. Even after using the whole box of bandages, no one will put on safety gloves.
And safety glasses are an after thought.
The snow and wind will counter the heat. All good.
As part of its plan to ban supervised consumption sites and close 10 of those operating in Ontario, the province has announced the creation of 19 intensive addiction recovery facilities, named HART Hubs.
A $378-million budget has been allocated to create the new spaces, which will combine addiction recovery with highly supportive housing units. The program should lead to 375 “highly supportive” housing units as part of the hub model.
That doesn’t sound bad, actually.
Gotta refinance a mortgage to afford half’n’half or milk.
$100M a year is about $274k per day on food and drinks.
While I like the idea of a lower interest rate, I also wonder what it will do. Will it drive housing prices up? Will it stimulate the economy by encouraging people to take debts and loans?
Did they lower rates to encourage people to take out loans?
Seeing a doctor for a sick note for a cold or flu is definitively not a great use of patient care. However if a patient has a medical appointment, why is it so hard to get a note on any scrap paper for an employer that says “patient should rest for x days then will be reassessed” due to surgery or “patient has x or y limitations / restrictions”. No confidential information on it.
Feels like getting notes to support substantiated accommodations is difficult and a long process. Most doctors don’t just write a simple note on a paper like a prescription for employers. That would be useful.
