That “Made in America” logo is going to start being viewed very differently than when I was a kid.

My dad is a huge MAGA guy and a postmaster. Also set to retire in 3 years. He thinks this is all fake news and Trump is “cleaning up” things. Can’t wait till he gets cleaned up and we get to have that convo.

I’ve said it before, why would he would have to? Having to do something is usually due to the fact that not doing it is illegal. Trump doesn’t care about the law. He would just say “no” and then nothing happens like usual.

The thing is, for that to have teeth there needs to be a credible threat to him. There isn’t one right now.

Anyone with any sense doesn’t use Twitter anymore. This is like throwing bait into a shark tank and being surprised by the reaction.

I had to scroll too far for this. If your child is a school and there’s an emergency, or your husband gets into an accident, or a million other very important things. You’ll just get back to them whenever? This seems borderline neglectful.

I agree, is why I said at least. That matches the current offering people are already embedded in. Now you need to entice. I think the biggest issue they face is how much history people have with that platform, there already so bought in. Literally. With tons of games, friends, and achievements already there, it would take a ton for most people to just walk away from that.

I’m saying that if they want to compete with another company they need a compelling offer, one that at least has feature parity on the big ticket items. Yes, you would then need to work to attract people, but a bare bones store front like they have is a huge roadblock. People feeling like making the switch means they lose things is not a way to encourage adoption.

A few that come to mind

• The review system isn’t nearly as good
• Tag searching is a joke compared to steam
• No steam achievements
• No direct access to updates and patch notes
• No game activity log, showing achievements you got and friends activity
• No concepts like free weekends and the such
• No dynamic collections
• Poor insight on performance with controllers or hardware like steam deck or rog Ally
• No where near the level of profile creation and customization
• No forums for game discussion
• No community content for guides and controller layouts
• No overlay options
• No mobile app
• Nothing like steam work shop
• No DLC downloading management like steam
• No curator groups to follow
• Unable to follow developers
• No remote play together
• Lack of something like big picture mode, for full controller playing. I use this a lot when I hook my PC to my TV for couch gaming.
• Lack of inventory and card items
• Built in FPS counter missing
• Beta and play test environment support
• Family sharing
• Remote game streaming
• Built in voice chat
• Rich chat that shows what game friends are playing and what they’re doing with a direct way to invite to game or invite to watch
• Seemless refund policy

Problem is, they pretty much said he can’t do anything illegal as president. They dropped the leash and are upset they can’t control the dog.

Usually the one that makes the claim has to provide evidence, that’s kinda how it works.

I’m a round about way it does hurt them though, I would assume. Which would make sense on why they don’t want it. Just trying to play it out in my head I’d think, ok company X pays more for copper, so they need to charge more. Which means less will probably be purchased, so they in turn order less copper from Mexico due to reduced demand from price sensitivity. So I think it will hurt them eventually.

What snowflake world did you grow up in where a teen pushing someone means they need to have their life ruined. Jesus, what kind of safe space life have you lived lol. Yeah the kid is such a victim, they got pushed, something that never happens to a child ever. Grow up

I’m sure we’ll have much better content too, once lots of companies stop investing in games, movies, and shows if that happens 🙄

I don’t get what you’re missing here. An atmosphere is the trapping of gasses, the moon doesn’t have enough gravity, they will disperse into space very quickly. It’s why the ISS doesn’t have it’s own atmosphere and if they pumped out smoke from that thing it would drift into space, not from a smog cloud around them.

Customers shouldn’t be responsible for ensuring a livable wage for a restaurants employees.

Money opens doors. You can be the best speaker in the world but without money you’re a nobody that they won’t make time for.

I personally do enjoy when I can get better resolution and sound, I’m excited to see the tech moving forward.
