I mean, a little. It’s far easier to sell someone on less than half a million than on more than half a million.

That’s far smaller than I expected. I also don’t imagine it will be cheap. If they manage to make it less than $100,000 then I’ll be baffled. Less than $500,000 and I’ll be excited for the possibilities in my lifetime.

That’s where I settled as well. “Change the world” level money for, at most, a few hundred hours of work. Probably closer to a dozen, if that. You’d be a fool to pass it up

My favorite opener for a while was “would you let bill gates have sex with you whenever he chose, for a full year, for a billion dollars?” It’s a question that got people going.
I knew I could respect anyone who replied affirmatively or questioned why I decided to start the conversation that way. These were reasonable folks who held an understanding of the vastness of a billion dollars, or saw how unsettling I or my question were.
The rare few were revolted by the premise. Either replying homophobically or in disgust at gates himself. These people were usually either not too bright or trying to put on a facade, in one respect or another.
Which is to say, discarding the idea of gaining a large sum of money is just not something that most reasonable people do. And many people view him less as a person and more as a portal to his treasury, until they’re forced to think about him. I agree with you

Then let me ask, how would you reach quorum with a loose group in the south? It’s guns or fried food, for me.

I don’t mean to be a pessimist, but Tesla doesn’t care about car sales. Their chief moneymaker is selling Tesla tokens to Wall Street, which do not correlate with Tesla’s company performance in any meaningful way.

Maybe people disliked my fun fact, maybe I came off the wrong way, maybe people took offense at my typo. It doesn’t matter much. I comment for me! (This comment included)

No, that’s just random being random. In order for something truly random to feel less random to the average person, you have to reduce the repetition.

Are you hot or pleasantly weird looking and willing to be contemptible to a fostered audience of millions? And do you have a few hundred thousand dollars to burn?

Do not give the Pauls attention. They became mainstream by hiring a pr firm to help spread the understanding that they are pieces of shit. Now they make millions off of the notoriety. Any attention is good attention for them.

Same, quite a bit of difference to me.
$1 - 7 = how many of these are they going to charge? 100+ dollars
$8 - 60 = round to nearest $5
$61+ = irrelevant collector’s edition

People have been doing it for years. At one point, it amounted to a sizable percentage of Reddit’s posts and comments. Just seo spam to their own profile, a few subreddits, and sleep your 600+ accounts for 3 days.

He really, really loves to put his name on things. Any publicity is good publicity for him, considering he became the president through kayfabe and nepotism

Your appliance will cost 4-10x more. There’s no magic to it. Appliances were like opera. Made for the rich

Why would he? We were playing stardew valley together at the time, and he was showing me how to reel in the legendary fish.

Anyone else feel almost like this is a giant game of civ and trump is a bit high, and attempting to execute two victory conditions simultaneously?

Frankly, I was imagining ultra-wealthy preppers. 1000 liters is less than the average household uses per day in the US, according to the most commonly repeated stat. That feels wildly inflated, but I have nothing to dispute it with other than my own household usage, which is far lower.
