Define “healthy” economy? Would you say the USA & Europe are “healthy” economies? Would you agree that poverty, a constantly increasing wealth gap and access to affordable housing, medicine and education are some factors that define an economy’s “health” ?
Funny how economy was supposed to be a tool for humanity and civilization. Instead it has become the purpose. Humanity’s well being and civilizations are now secondary to a healthy economy.
That’s not how to urbanize in Montréal in 2025 . As the article says it’s in an area where you have public transport, bike lanes and everything is accessible within walking distance. It’s the people that want to have a car and also live in a densely populated area that take up too much space.
