Not usually. Some states require you to declare a party to vote in the primary. Some states just let you show up for a primary and say which one you want.
As cool as the Gripen is, the Typhoon probably still does that job better.
Yeah, I agree with all that. Obviously, there isn’t a truly 1:1 alternative go the F35. I’m just saying that the Gripen is a strange choice for Canada when looking for an F35 alternative. The Gripen makes a lot of sense for a small county, strapped for cash that needs an interceptor more than anything, like Ukraine.
The Gripen isn’t exactly a great jet for dropping bombs. It’s mission is to be a quick to launch, easy to fly jet to intercept Russian fighters. Imo, the Gripen is an awesome aircraft, but an odd choice as a F35 alternative. I would think the Rafale or Typhoon would be closer in mission capabilities to the F35.
Dick Durbin always seems to find a way to be on the wrong side. I have no idea why he keeps getting reelected.
I got it in 2020, but I can’t imagine being in the military right now. We might attack an ally or we might commit a genocide. Neither of which I can support or accept as a lawful order.
Yep, just added even more managerial over head and made it even harder for joint missions. Space Force still uses Lackland AFB (or whatever joint base it is called now) for its basic training. It probably is mostly just still Air Force basic training
What makes you think they’ll follow the ruling? They’ve been ignoring them so far.
Invisible. I don’t know anybody in that situation. But I do know plenty of older people who are collecting social security.
That ship sailed when the SC said presidents are kings and then he was re-elected king. Elon will be pardoned before he sees any consequences.
Go birds!
Yeah, apparently not. I thought it was clear that I was pointing out the “at auction” part and its risks.
Right, that’s the point I was making. I did know a guy that would buy them and flip them. It’s a numbers game at that point. Some will be sinkers, but most will make money. If you’re buying one to live in, that’s a heck of a risk.
At an auction. Meaning it was a house that was foreclosed on. Oftentimes, they go for very cheap, sight unseen, and you need cash in hand. Granted the laws for that differ per state.
Unfortunately, a lot of Gen X went that way.
flagrantly ignoring court orders
They did a lot of this. Several Trump staffers straight up ignored court subpoenas.
And exactly what he and his lackeys did the last time they were in power.
