Dont get me started on how dumb that video is. Video essay slop.

What makes you think you can measure the % say an AI has in the decision to kill a human? Even if we pretend “it had 100% say” was true it wouldnt matter, it would still be a human that ordered the deployment and be responsible for the decision.
Thanks for letting me know you can’t answer the question at the start
So you have no idea and youre just emotionally reacting to headlines and slop articles.
no its because they’re on selling another service and you’re paying extra for the Mozilla brand
What are the horrible crimes against humanity that make Palantir the most evil company in the world and be specific.
Did they mention anywhere what borders? I’m guessing its going to be pre67 borders which is a complete non starter without significant diplomatic work from both sides and neither are even close to working something like that out.
Maybe its current borders with land swaps for settlements in the west bank and Gaza to remain under occupation. I can’t see anywhere that they clarify what they are actually recognising as the Palestinian state so its ringing pretty dam hollow to me. Theyve also said they won’t accept hamas in power so I guess theyve managed to recognise something which no side agrees to which is so stupid.
Removing capitalism from the equation would drive even more demand for security and resources and put less pressure on playing nice with international markets.
Not true. They absolutely let auditors go through the work especially for big clients like government. There is a ton of 3rd party audits that asses if palantir actually provided value and improvement in their contract.
Nothing is “black box” if you have the money.
Normally id say data protection laws but the administration does not care to prosecute laws.
Palantir says they dont share data between clients and I’m inclined to believe them because there is no evidence they do and it would be a huge break in the norms and most likely drive away a lot of their clients. Their business model is not consulting based on mystery data, its building software pipelines to clean and interpret the clients current data.

$5 a month is way to pricey for such a service.
These glasses are actually insanely cool. I’d pay so much for an open source pair and the band.
It sucks that no matter what cool new hardware meta comes out with will always be ruined by them stuffing in “meta integration”.
The evil there is the Nazi’s so Im not going to talk about “most evil” and point to Ford when the Nazi’s are standing right next to them.
We can easily chain together support to call anyone evil but thats stupid and unproductive. I’ll draw the line at the person committing the evil act being evil. Are people who hold raytheon stock evil? Are people who work for the government under Trump evil? Are the people who made food for Nazi’s evil? Where do you draw your line?
I dont care about some nutcase CEO yapping in vanity interviews. Show me something evil done by the company palantir. The things people are upset at palantir for are things requested by the people voted in to write laws. The criticism should be entirely on them.
My point is there is nothing to read. Some of the articles posted are so low quality they add nothing more than the headline. But they are still worth commenting on became people want to talk about the topic generally
There is nothing evil about palantir as a company or business model. They are a highly skilled big data analytics firm and just ingest clients data and output useful metrics.
The evil is the client(governments) intention to collect and use this kind of data. Which has nothing to do with capitalism and is only happening due to liberalism being on the way out.
I dont think this should be implemented because I dont see how that would improve anything. I think that people are burnt out right now with what’s going on in the world and it reflects in the comments. Compare comments now with this time last year and the energy is very different.
I read a lot of the articles that are posted and so many are complete garbage and it makes me not care about reading the article. Like do I really care about some idiot journalists opinion on how ai can’t answer how many Rs in strawberry or do I just want to shit on ai in the comments.
Im not saying buying a skin is skill expression. When a player is playing they are preforming in front of an audience, everything is part of how they express themselves. From how they move to how they shoot to the skins on their gun its all player expression. Not everything has to be an achievement to be proud of some stuff you just like because it makes YOUR character look the way you like. I dont know how to convey this idea properly.
If its a f2p game where cosmetics cost nothing people still choose cosmetics over the default character. This is because your ingame character kind of represents you when you play online.
For your second part about spending money on games I feel like you are being intentionally obtuse. I dont only care about money going to devs. The game isnt made by just devs. I want it to go to the entire company that produced the game I’m playing. If investors get paid thats good I’m glad they are getting a return on investing in the creation of a game I like. If the game made no money there wouldnt be people getting hired to work on it. A f2p game is exactly like a tip jar no one has to buy anything and if no one buys anything the game shutsdown.
The X1 was on par with the M3 wasnt it? I think the issue was that windows has a dogshit arm platform so they had no good laptop to showoff the chip.
