It’s been years, and I still haven’t recovered from the ending of Outer Wilds. I don’t think I ever want to either, haha

Yeah, this is basically how it goes. Telegram is set by default to allow anybody to add you to chats. You can disable that, or set it so only Contacts can add you. Anyways, how it usually goes is some nefarious party, or a bot, will make their way into a legit chat room and then start adding all the members to their crypto chats, or whatever. Thankfully, I only ever was added to crypto scam chats at random before I fixed my privacy settings.
Absolutely disgusting
Privilege? It often takes me a year or longer, hundreds of applications, and at least three to five in-person interviews to finally land something. What’s privileged about working that hard for something so basic as a job?
This is a dumb take imo. I work a salary job and I usually end up taking many extra “days off” per year by just working a couple hours, if that, and ducking out for a doctors visits or other errands. I also just call it a day a few hours early on occasion, when I’m feeling done. It all adds up.
If I’m minority sick, I’ll absolutely just sit here and be unproductive on my computer as I peruse my phone, chat with friends, and wiggle the mouse between emails. Take advantage of the system as much as you can, because you know they are too.
I don’t know what to tell people who clock in and out, or who are closely monitored for work hours tbh. I wouldn’t work one of those jobs, and if I ever found myself in one, I would be searching for a new job tirelessly which I felt respected my efforts and my contributions.
Even more reason to end the program, then. If Musk not “done Space X”, somebody else would have. There is nothing special about him, and maybe it should have been an American to own those businesses after all?
Yeah, I’d rather people not have to get shot for the government to realize there’s a problem, but here we are. It got to the point where some dude went out and shot a rich guy. And now they finally notice? Doubt.
It’s all just theater.
This will definitely ease tensions among the masses and rouse support for the Healthcare execs lmao
If I weren’t already not shopping at Walmart, I would be excited to begin not shopping at Walmart in response to this. Can’t win 'em all.
Agreed. Maybe race had nothing to do with it, but the news headline obviously suggests it is. If it was racism, why not just call it out instead if alluding to it?
We’re probably going to be seeing articles like this coming from the US in a few years. Probably.
Take notes
Exactly. They’re just showing you to your face instead of voting “behind your back”. I appreciate the honesty
Cops can’t even tell the difference between a cellphone and a gun
I will continue to never give Nintendo any of my money on account of their litigiousness.
Yeah, 100% the cop’s fault. If a person feels it’s better to shoot an innocent bystander in the head than risk being stabbed, then they’re in the wrong line of work. Get out and let someone with better judgement have a go.
Grow up
I think anybody who is sex trafficked for a year should legally get a freebie. Anybody who is willing to abuse or sex traffic another human being should just be at peace with the possibility of being ended by their victims. Good thing I don’t make the laws, I guess?
Its a step in the right direction. They’ve gone from having hundreds or thousands of AI reviews to having one or two real reviews for the same price. In theory, anyways.
Yeah, I thought Google was so cool around 2004. Now I can’t wait for them to become irrelevant. I need to stop using “googling” as a verb…
I used to love ordering pizza for delivery, and I’d give like 5-10 bucks as a tip which might be 30 or 50% just depending. But now nobody does their own delivery anymore, I pay extra for the food because they’re outsourcing to Door Dash, and it takes two hours to get a pizza.
Delivery is dead as far as I can tell. All that’s left is going through the fast food drive-through which is like 12-15 bucks nowadays. I’d rather just eat at home.
The only time I go out nowadays is when I’m with a friend.
