You’re absolutely right, I’ll edit my comment. Thanks for the catch.
Mostly a backup account for now, other @Deebsters are available.

In my decades of work in the UK (from nightshift shelf stacker to software architect) I’ve never not had one hour.

Disgraceful, old-fashioned actions from the unnamed diving certifiers insurer - and, as the major diving insurance company (based in Malta) is DAN World Insurance Group SP, it’s clear that DAN puts their reputation above child safety.
(edited out misdirected finger pointing)
I would add that I’m not sure 30 days is “generous” given that 90 days is somewhat standard, but given that it took only two days for a lawyer’s threats to arrive that’s not too relevant.

Yeah, I thought this was from /c/leopardsatemyface@lemmy.world
I looked at the other ones; I think that nohello.club might be a bit more useful, in a catching-flies-with-honey kinda way.

I also sometimes use the Kagi summaries and it’s definitely been wrong before. One time I asked what the term was for something in badminton and it came up with a different badminton term. When I looked at the cited source, it was a multiple choice quiz with the wrong term being the first answer.
It’s reliable that I still use it, although more often to quickly identify which search results are worth reading.

There’s been a moratorium on executions in South Korea since 1998 (the last executions being in 1997), so this won’t happen - the alternative for a guilty conviction is life imprisonment.

Others have already pointed out scaled (my default sort) but I have often thought I would like to see a full feed for my quieter comms. Without making a new only-quiet-comms account or modifying a Lemmy client the only way I’ve thought of is to subscribe to the RSS feeds (but that means using a different app and managing two sets of subscriptions).
I’m still deciding how much I agree or disagree with this. It’s true that they do cite books which you often can’t read online, but adding information backed up by a paywalled proof feels a bit “trust me bro”. E.g. I could find/create a site with an impossibly large paywall and no-one would realistically able to check my sources.
