I’m glad that I don’t use Reddit and have no intention on doing so. I remember there was a very talented artist who was wrongfully accused of using AI and banned on the art subreddit. That artist got banned even though receipts were shown to the mods proving the art was not AI, and I guess with this policy, I’d be at risk of being banned from Reddit altogether because I for sure would’ve upvoted the art if I did have a Reddit account, it was amazing.

I get that math is hard to some people, but every computer I’ve used has had a calculator of some sort.

Pretty much the same with me. I used to think he was a visionary who would seriously help to make the world a better place. That was back in 2017 and I was much younger back then. Like you, the whole “pedo guy”/cave thing was what made me start to think that maybe he’s not a good person, and things sort of spiralled from there. Did you see that deleted Tweet of his where he said Canada isn’t a real country?

I’ll happily risk losing my job if it means I can speak out against a Nazi and call a spade a spade. Fascists deserve no sympathies.

I’ve always been an egghead, but I’d be lying if I said all the talk about eggs lately hasn’t made me more of one. For me it’s not about schadenfreude but to do with conditioning. It’s not unusual for me to just eat a dozen boiled eggs in one sitting!

Imagine helping to protect your country for 40 years, only to have a felon who is offended over the existence of people with any skin colour besides white take all that away from you. I predict that a white man will be offered to take Brown’s place and will be far less qualified.

That’s what all of this anti “DEI” (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) is about, purging anyone who isn’t a straight, able-bodied white male.

There seems to be an epidemic of “awkward hand gestures” and “Roman salutes” and according to some people on Twitter we’re not allowed to call them Nazis because we can’t literally read minds. I’m so tired of enablers.

It’s sad how the US has spent so long building up an alliance with Canada, only for it to all be ruined by Trump in such a short amount of time. I was planning on travelling to California but those plans have since been scrapped as I just don’t feel comfortable travelling to the US. I’m genuinely worried things may escalate further.

If I have to fight for my country and defend it, then I’ll happily do so.

The fact that 152 thousand people hearted that post is so disheartening.

Imagine after less than two weeks in office, you’re threatening and blackmailing other nations into being annexed by you and thinking this makes you the good guy in this scenario.

Good. Imagine being so evil that you’d want to traumatize children by forcing them to watch people get taken away.

This is honestly really scary. Why should someone’s livelihood be ruined for calling something what it is?

This is great! Pixelfed has been getting an influx of new users lately and it makes me happy that these sites are getting more traction!

Before such articles are published, the journalists would have had to have collected a lot of information and had the article reviewed by their legal team. For so many women out there, sexual assault is a very real and terrible thing that they’ve experienced, with around 1 in 3 women globally being subjected to either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime, and I would not even consider relegating their experiences to a mere “story”.

Statistically speaking, the likelihood of someone lying about sexual assault is low, a reasonable estimate being around 3-4%. When you have 9 separate people making the same claim, it gives credance to the idea that the odds of their claims being false is very low.
