I mean, chemo is primarily used for cancer - however it is also used to treat some autoimmune and blood disorders.
I assume you mean as a healthy person though, which yeah… sounds miserable if you have no reason.

I’m kind of the opposite, lol.
I miss my overnight shift.
I’d wake up, the world was quiet, there were no harsh lights to contend with, very few coworkers to deal with, even less management…
Just go in, put in my earbuds between calls, and do my shit. Then, when everyone is grumpy and trying to get coffee, I’m going home.
That being said, when the time changed it could be a blessing and a curse.
On one hand, sweet, short(ish) day… well, 11 hours. Then it swings the other way, and 13 hour shifts suck even more than 12 hours.
Watching the time roll back an hour feels very unfair when you’re on the clock and just want to go home, lol.
Grew up in Texas. Moved recently, to another state.
The bible, or lack thereof, isn’t the issue in Texas schooling. Nor the countrywide issue of gun violence.
This is clear governmental overreach and defies separation of church and state.
Fuck these clowns. Sideways, with a two foot dildo covered in shark skin. Twice, so they don’t forget the lesson.
PS: As an anecdote, up to fourth grade I was enrolled at a christian private school. Parents had money at the time, and they were touted to have the best education. I learned more about the dark, nasty, terrible side of life there than I did any other time in school - and I watched a kid get dragged down the hall by his ear by a former marine for smoking crack in the bathroom when I was in public school. I also would have never learned how to play poker or blackjack in a public school, lol.
I rocked long hair from grade school to my mid 20s.
Then, a lady friend (platonic) sat me down and had a talk with me.
The thinning, now seemingly always greasy, strands of hair was not a good look. Like, don’t visit a playground or I would be arrested on site lol.
So, being a metal head there are two main options, or at least were at the time. Long hair. Or take bare clippers to it.
So, I did.
That first winter fucking suuuucked. Still to this day, I tend to rock a hoody in cold weather, and toss my hood up to cover my head for warmth when outdoors.
Sometimes I let it grow out for about a month before taking clippers to it again, out of sheer laziness. A month of growth, from shaved, isn’t much in the way of hair, but temperature wise it is very noticeable.
I loved Control.
I absolutely could not get into AW, and it bums me out because it seemed intriguing.
Linux is the key there.
All your complaints revolve around Windows.
That being said, if you don’t want to fuck with computers any more than necessary, that route won’t be particularly pleasing until Valve can release their OS and Launcher updates, assuming they keep things user friendly.
Linux gaming is leagues better than it was 20 years ago. Still hard to beat a fresh Windows install (key: fresh) and most certainly a console when it comes to ease of use.
Hah, one of my favorite aspects of early Christianity was the concept of “Sanctuary.”
Glad to see fascism has firmly stamped that out, though it hasn’t been a thing in a long while.
Why is the sky blue?

Just being pedantic, rapists, especially child rapists need the book thrown at them.
Man, I know English. I know some Spanish, high school drop out level, and I have some “real world” experience from working in a hotel… but man, I don’t think I can change languages on the fly.
Mi Espanol es muy mal. Muy, muy, mal.
I’m on W11 with my daily driver.
I don’t like it. I didn’t like it from the start.
So why?
Because W10 will hit EOL sooner than later; and I have to support that shit professionally.
Doesn’t matter that no one is testing or building applications for W11, no security patches mean any employer worth their salt will switch over to W11, despite not having the infrastructure to do it.
Admin VS IT. I’m nearly 40, and that story is older than I am.
As a Texan, this makes me happy.
I don’t believe in book bans. If a kid can read it, they should. Will they agree with the message? Maybe, maybe not. However, they were exposed to different thoughts. This isn’t a bad thing. It is up to the reader to determine how valid that line of thinking is in their life.
The bible… whew, the bible… Violence, sexuality, fucking incest, rape, etc. It isn’t a “clean” book.
However, if they’re gonna ban books for questionable material, the fucking bible is chock full of it.
I say this as someone who had southern baptist grandparents I spent the summer with, and have read the bible cover to cover more times than I ever cared to, but it was the only reading material available.
I’d also add a lifetime subscription to Nexus, that alone can add so much life to so many games. Hell, if I’m checking out a game, I see what kind of mod support it has first.
Or do they not offer that anymore?
I think I got it way back when for $50 or so.
When I acted up, threw a tantrum, basically disturbed the peace, my mother would get up, take me outside away from others until I settled down. Did trips to the grocery store take some additional time some days? Yeah. But I learned pretty quick.
This wasn’t some stay at home mom who had tons of free time. My mom worked 40+ hours a week, was the primary bread winner, and still did a decent job of raising me.
Some office environments too.
Last place I was at, I worked nights pretty much solo. If my wireless earbuds died, sure, I’d play it out loud. I was the only one in the building. About an hour before anyone else started getting in, if my ear buds still hadn’t charged enough I turned it off.
Partially to be respectful, and partially because some people get offended by metal even if they can’t understand the lyrics. And I mean, yeah, some bands can have unprofessional lyrics. I get it having been in the working world so long.
I don’t disagree, but having tried anal with a few women before - even with plenty of prep, I’m too big.
If Rin can take it, I’m gonna knock it off my bucket list, lol.
Gonna piss off the farmers, until they get their subsidiary check for growing corn (for high fructose corn syrup) instead of feeding the population.
I’ll admit, I haven’t watched it. Nor do I intend to. And I tried to allude to CDPR doing… something to explain it.
I’ve seen too many decent games ruined by hype trains, so I do my best to avoid them and form my own judgements.
I tend to be a lore nerd before a min-maxer in games, though that wasn’t always the case.
The “best” build isn’t always the most enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE theory crafting ridiculous shit - but if you trounce all your enemies, conquer every social interaction, and breeze through the game… where is the adventure?
Hell, the BEST DND player I’ve played with lasted three sessions. Second Edition. Gnome Fighter with 3 INT. He was, sadly, too dumb to live. But man, I enjoyed every session with that character. Barrel of laughs, and his “idiocy” could be really ingenious. Dangerous to everyone around him, friend or foe, but he got results.
Sadly, he re-rolled with a more optimized character. It survived, but it was not nearly as much fun.
The Trial of Grasses is kind of a defining moment in a witcher’s life.
Thats really my only beef at the moment with the choice, but I’ve been awake for over 48 hours so I’m not thinking too clearly at the moment.
Mea-sles? Ohhh, my freedom rash.
Nah, its fine. Not contagious or potentially life altering for the worse even if I survive.
I don’t know where I picked it up, but my toddler son came back from preschool with something similar! Any way, I’ve got to get to his funeral. Merica!
