All we can do is try to make things better for the next generations. At least now people are listening. If it weren’t for everyone having access to recording devices, we’d never be able to even hope for change.

It happened to me decades ago. My PARENTS didn’t care.
“Well what did you say to make them so angry?”
I was still a teenager, and cops with guns and nightsticks had to beat me up while I was being processed and wearing handcuffs, all because I was “running my mouth”.

Guilty or not, always plead not guilty at the start. You’ll often have a chance to accept a better plea deal before trial if you want. Or you can go to trial.
Unless you are looking forward to serving time (free food, warm bed, access to healthcare).
I don’t see any reason to limit it to healthcare executives.
We probably could ramp up some production here to survive this. But for it to actually work the way it’s proposed the general population will need to give up certain luxuries that are only available via import. And I can’t see that ever happening. The average American isn’t going to sacrifice anything for the greater good.
I can understand this point of view.
But I can also condemn them for doing it.
We need to consume less disposables, but few of us are willing to tolerate even the slightest inconvenience. I’m not sure you can fix that problem without education at a young age. If you can’t fix the human greed issue, then you need to learn how to control it. Stop letting corporations and billionaires have all the money. If the population has a higher income, they can afford to pay for things that cost more to produce in a sustainable fashion.
Nationalize Corporations and use the profits to fund UBI and disability programs.

The dwarf version is the one that I always quote.
This is how you start the Great Robot War.
Get rid of stops for small shit like expired tabs or dim taillights so traffic cops can focus on unsafe driving. John Oliver did a pretty good piece on this recently.
Did you bother to look into it at all? What you are asking doesn’t even make sense from a design standpoint.
Nobody asked for a car you can print.
The way they are building their electric truck is the smartest way. Using available, off-the-shelf parts that have proven reliability. Nobody is going to be using CAD to create custom parts. Reinventing the wheel is precisely the problem and Edison Motors is working to avoid those mistakes.
Also, they are taking design input/feedback at the consumer level right now, BEFORE they have a ‘completed’ product to purchase. This is as close to open source as you can get in my opinion.
You could literally buy the same parts out of a warehouse and build a logging truck yourself if you wanted to.
Or you can sit on the internet and complain without having any idea what you’re talking about.
Edison Motors would be my bet.
That guy is doing some seriously cool open source shit on a HUGE scale (electric logging trucks). I’m sure once they perfect the process they will move into the car and truck market.
His media channels and shorts are always great, even if you have no knowledge or interest in the logging industry.
I love when they quote how many ‘pounds of marijuana’ they got when they are weighing the growing medium, the full plant, seedlings, clones, etc .
A close friend of mine had to quit the force after a few years. Luckily for him the only thing he dealt with was the guilt of having to put kids in jail for weed. He still feels guilty about it.
Admittedly once I found out he was a cop for a few years I didn’t trust him. But after hearing his stories and understanding that he had to leave because he wasn’t one of them. He actually went to college and had plans to be a detective but had to give up that entire life plan because he just couldn’t handle all the corruption and abuse.
Sucks that you have to continue to suffer because the system was broken. Hope you understand that you (and my buddy) were also victims on some level.
