You are fine till you hit a point and run out. Once you hit empty it’s a constant grind to get back to full and that’s also not counting the more expensive tools later in the game or the tools that need you to return to specific locations to “recharge” for beads.

It’s just this extra layer of grind and tedium that Hollow Knight didn’t have with the spells all using soul.

It’s got the bloodborne blood vial issue with having to grind for crafting materials if you get stuck and use them all.

Definitely could use a cost nerf for the tools and not every attack from a boss should do two or three damage.

Yeah not like they’ve been pumping out as many as they possibly could or something. Yeah no shit people are going to have played at least one if you flood the market like that.

Yeah for a “dynamic open world” it sure consists of a bunch of linear missions and rigged structure.

Thats a classic video and definitely one of the first I’ve seen outside of Zero Punctuation that has been honest about the GTA games.

Really aren’t. GTA has had the most dated mission structure since part 3.

Their Gangs and crimes stories are also weak.

Or developers could just optimize their games instead of using this generative drivel to compensate for lazy or rushed development.

Yeah the difficulty and Elden Ring in general suffer a lot because of the open world. Lies of P is more like a classic souls game but with a lot of quality of life upgrades and multiple difficulty modes for beginners.

Nice dude! If you didn’t complete Elden Ring yet and struggled with it as a first souls game I would highly recommend you check out “Lies of P” next. It’s quite similar to bloodborne and also introduces a lot of the advanced souls mechanics in a beginner friendly manner with lots of good quality of life changes from the classic souls games without diluting the core experience.
